They look graceful in flight, and they present a beautiful sight floating on the lake, but they are noisy, filthy animals. I think the last of them has finally left our community lake for the summer.
Now we'll have peace until November.
We have both canadian geese and mallard ducks living in the lake in our subdivision. They stay here year round. So far, they've only ventured into our yard a couple of times, and never when the crew of nieces/nephews are here :)
